Making Friends

Brianna proved to be a very social toddler. I would tell her to go over to the kids and say HI and she would just wiggle her way into playing with them! She met a very nice family of three girls ages 5, 8, and 10 who just adored her.... She played with them like 3-4 times. It was quite cute to see how outgoing she was!

New addition!

Well, we now have a new addition to our family..... Her name is Easter. ( It was Esther, a horrible name, so we had to amend it!) She's an adorable 6 month old german shepard. Our other canine family members are getting a little older, especially Irish. I feel a little scared here when Rob isn't home so wanted a dog that was somewhat intimidating in look. I think that she will be perfect! She's very sweet and so far has been really a good girl. We took her on a walk and she was an angel, practically heeled on her own! So cool. But, she is a puppy... likes to chew. I hope we don't lose anything valuable in this puppy process. Anyways, just wanted to introduce her to everyone!

Christmas Eve 2010

Christmas Eve we went to church, then we were off to Ann Wanger's for a wonderful dinner.... Bri was decked out in her Christmas outfit and looking pretty darn cute, but I'm not at all biased! Santa's on his way (we hope).... she's been a really good girl!

Bri and Goat were helping me wrap presents this past week. Well, "helping" me is maybe stretching the truth! ; ) But, they were certainly having fun!

Firehouse Christmas

On Wednesday, we went to station 20 for a wonderful Christmas feast. There were lots of kids and presents and fun was had by all!! Bri was having a blast as is apparent in these pictures.....

Decking the Halls

So this was the first Christmas tree that Bri helped decorate.... she was quite excited at first but lost interest after about 8 ornaments. Thankfully, this is our $35 target tree so it didn't take very long for me to finish decorating! ; )

Susanville trip

Last weekend, we went to Susanville to celebrate a very low key Thanksgiving with Rob's parents and grandma. Bri had tons of fun seeing everyone and playing in the snow.

Bri had fun helping me make some sugar cookies.... She liked putting the sprinkles on but didn't like eating them. Can you believe this; Bri hates chocolate!! Funny, huh?

Gymnastics

Bri impressed me by joining in with Jack in his class and doing most of the things well! Well, 2 year old style... but she tried. She actually walked on the beam by herself, jumped on it, walked backwards AND sideways. I was totally amazed. The bottom line was, she had a great time in the class!

A visit with Joan

Joan was able to come over to visit while we were there. We shared a nice lunch locally. It was great to catch up!

day 3; the pool! Bri showed off her new swimming skills... she was a bit nervous at first, then didn't want to get out or stop even though she was shivering! I think that she was quite proud of herself.

PARTY!!!!!

day 2; Birthday Party at gymboree! How fun is this? We've not even been here 24 hours and we're crashing a birthday party! Notice the Bri was the last one eating! That girl never misses a meal, especially a free one! ;)

Bri's CHORE

Bri is used to feeding animals at our place, so she happily took over the feeding duties at the Kirkners..... She reminded us every day that the fish needed to be fed! I don't think that Jack was too concerned about the loss of his ability to earn a sticker. ; )

Arrival in Ladera Ranch!

Well, we made it..... And Bri is in heaven in "disneyland" aka the Kirkner's residence! The fun couldn't wait.... the dress up happened right away, and can't forget the piano!
