It's so beautiful to see sun after or during a rainstorm..... this picture of the horses shows the pouring rain and sun combination......Brianna got to see her first rainbow!

San Diego

Brianna and I are in SAN Diego while Dad is at home working on our kitchen remodel. Last night Rob had NO Heat and a hole in the ceiling. Poor dad, but we thank him and look forward to his visit to San Diego this weekend.

Eye makeup

So, the morning before we went to Zech's birthday celebration, Brianna decided that she needed some eye makeup "like Mommy". She used my STAY ALL DAY lipstick-- and I couldn't even scrub it off of her! IT lived up to it's name. I should have known when she was watching me put on my makeup and said "eyes". Then later, she vanished.... before appearing with her EYE makeup! Such a cutie.... BTW, I've since learned that you can get it off with olive oil and lots of scrubing..... ; )

Daffodil Hill

Yesterday we took a drive to Daffodil Hill with Colleen, Camille and her new baby sister. FUn was had by all..... running around all the daffodils!! This time of the year is absolutely beautiful here!

When I grow up I want to be a fireman!

Here is Brianna practicing how to drive a firetruck with Daddy!

Visit to Daddy's work

On our way home from Mimi and Papa's we visited Dad. Brianna made Rob wear his helmet the entire time and kept taking him into the garage area to point out the fire engines!! AND THE HELMETS!!! She loves her headwear!

Visit to Mimi and Papa's

Brianna and I traveled to Fresno to celebrate Uncle Jim's 70th birthday. We had a wonderful visit with Mimi and Papa. And as usual, Brianna was a very good girl and quite adorable. Brianna also met Papa's Paco.... the stuffed version. He's the same color as all her cats, but he moves a little differently which scared Brianna at first. But eventually she learned to love him too!

Spring is here!

Brianna was helping me plant flowers.... here she is admiring the flowers sporting her stylish riding helmet. We have to hide it from her if we don't want her wearing it!

At home

Just a typical day in Plymouth..... Hanging out with Daddy, being cute in a hat...

My latest reblooming orchid

This is one of my favorite orchids!!! And it's been a prolific rebloomer too. Makes up for all the ones that don't bloom!

Church with my little girl

Today we went to church..... Brianna was especially cute, so I wanted to post so her daddy, who was called in for overtime, could see how cute his little girl was today! Notice her purse, like mommy! Update; Brianna wore this same outfit with a change of shoes to her green rain boots to go out and feed the horses this afternoon -- IN THE RAIN!! She did't' care at all about the rain, just wanted to be outside!

Visit from Betsy and Lisa

Betsy and Lisa visited a few weeks ago...... we had fun visiting, riding horses, and doing "chores". Sydney was so excited to be on a FARM. And she was even more excited that she actually KNEW the people on the farm. Rob made a great dinner and we are had a jolly good time!

First ride!

Brianna got her riding helmet for Christmas and now has had her first ride!!! Buzz was a little lame when we did this-- that's just extra insurance for me!! She seemed to like it, but didn't want to share her helmet with her friend Sydney. After this, she has been wearing her helmet 24/7!! We have to hide it from her and Dad wont' let her wear it out of the house! At least we don't have to beg her to wear it; could be worse!

Like Daddy....

Brianna wanted to sit in Dad's chair and use her computer like Daddy!!! She is into doing everything that we do now... we better be careful! ; )

My farmhouse

Brianna playing with her new farmhouse.... a farmer's granddaughter at heart!!

Just chillin'

Here's Brianna in typical evening mode-- lounging on her Dora chair. She has to fight the cat for it though!!!

SANTA found Brianna

Even though we were at Mimi and Papa's house, Santa in his infinite wisdom still found Brianna. As Coit tradition would have it, all the gifts were unwrapped and placed in a stategic place for Brianna to find them-- the middle of the living room! She was enamored with her sunglasses and cell phone right away, but she had lots of fun exploring all her new things. She must have been a very good girl this past year, because Santa sure had a lot of things for her! Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve at Ann's party!

We went to Ann Wanger's party after church as the new tradition would have it.....Brianna had such a good time playing with the older kids. They took her under their wing, and played with her the whole time. What an awesome break! She learned how to bounce on the bed and everything!! Ah oh, we're in trouble now!

The Playgound in Fresno

On Christmas eve Brianna, daddy, Mimi , and I went to the park. Brianna had a blast and we all had a blast watching her have a blast!. She went on the rocking horse, the slide, climbed on the play structure, went on the swing, fed the ducks, AND as a bonus, the fire department came and let all the kids climb in the truck to see it up close. Bri wasn't so impressed by this, as she is already well versed in the what the inside of a fire truck looks like. But she was excited about the bouncing ball that they gave all the kids afterwards!!! Mimi took the opportunity to get a cute picture with Bri in front of the fire truck ( excuse me, fire engine!! ; ) BTW, Brianna insisted on wearing her red bow with her pink outfit. I didn't fight it; choose your battles, right??
